Michael Gelmon
Michael Gelmon is one of the founders of Chiropractic
USA and is currently Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Banyan
Corporation (BANY). Previously Mr. Gelmon was a founding shareholder,
Director, as well as Head of Acquisitions and Real Estate for Domino's
Pizza of Canada Ltd., the Domino's Pizza Master Franchisor in Canada.
Also a franchise and real estate lawyer, Michael Gelmon was an integral
part of the team that was responsible for growing the Domino's chain
to 200 stores located in every region of Canada, with system-wide
sales of approximately CAD $80,000,000 per annum.
Cory Gelmon
Cory Gelmon is one of the founders of Chiropractic
USA and is currently President and a Director of Banyan Corporation
("BANY"), a public company that owns Chiropractic USA.
Previously Mr. Gelmon was a founding shareholder, Director, as well
as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Domino's Pizza
of Canada Ltd., the Domino's Pizza Master Franchisor in Canada.
A franchise lawyer by profession, Mr. Gelmon was largely responsible
for growing the Domino's chain to 200 stores located in every region
of Canada, with system-wide sales of approximately CAD $80,000,000
per annum. While running Domino's, Mr. Gelmon oversaw the computerization
of all the stores in the system, creation of new store designs as
well as the introduction of various new products. In addition, the
Director of Marketing reported directly to Mr. Gelmon while introducing
innovative and very successful new marketing programs on a national,
regional as well as on a local store basis.
Marshall F. Wilmot
Marshall F. Wilmot has held several senior executive
positions in major corporations in North America during his nineteen
year career. Prior to joining Banyan, Mr. Wilmot was an Officer
with The Forzani Group, Ltd. (FGL), Canada’s largest Sporting
Goods retailer with over $1 Billion in sales. During his four years
at FGL, Mr. Wilmot held several key roles in the company, including:
Vice President, Operations and Customer Service and, most recently,
as Vice President, Marketing. Prior to joining FGL, Mr. Wilmot had
a distinguished twelve year career at Canadian Airlines; a $3 Billion
full service airline purchased by Air Canada in 2000. At Canadian
Airlines, Mr. Wilmot held progressively senior positions in both
marketing and operations, with his last position as Vice President,
In-flight Service. He received a Masters of Business Administration
(MBA) from Nyenrode Universiteit in the Netherlands in 1986, and
a Bachelor of Commerce (Bcomm) with a major in Finance from the
University of Calgary in 1983.
Dr. Jeffrey Schacter
Dr. Jeffrey Schacter was appointed Head of Chiropractic
Operations in early June, 2001. Dr. Schacter has been a successful
Chiropractic practitioner since 1987. He has developed an extremely
successful practice and has completed the State Chiropractic Boards
for Illinois, Missouri, and Arizona. Prior to commencing his private
practice he was Clinic Director at Logan College of Chiropractic
in St. Louis, Missouri, which is where he previously had received
his Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Schacter brings with him the knowledge
and experience of opening, developing and operating successful clinics
and is an invaluable resource in building our team of corporate
and franchised clinics. |
